Today we will have a lot of fun with crazy things. We will combine impossible. Maybe we will even predict the future with alien objects 😂!

This exercise forces your brain to make visual links that you wouldn't otherwise see. By pushing you outside of your comfort zone, you will be more likely to make creative connections in real life. Let's go for it, start thinking outside of the box 📦.

Look at the images below, think of the grid as a visual multiplication table. Sketch the idea that connects the two items in each of the empty boxes (snail+bulb=?, lamp+book=?)

Try to be as creative as you can. The idea here is not to put two objects into one picture but more like combining two objects into one. Explore the way how the two items can be connected. Even using the meaning or purpose.

It doesn't have to be realistic, it even doesn't have to make much sense, the most important part is to be creative a think about these connections. Your brain will make the right decision, I'm sure of that!

And here you can check out my own try on this exercise. So have fun and stay Scatchy!

This exercise involves bringing together ideas that serve very different needs or interests to form a new concept. You see this sort of thinking all the time in products like the Apple watch, the Swiss Army knife, smartphones, or even sofa beds.

Once you are done, don't be shy and share it with us below in the comments that we can see all the different ideas and approaches.
